Mbongiseni Magwaza has more than five years of experience in small business and community development. Currently, he is co-founder and CEO at Siyanibona Investments, where he focuses on agro-processing and value addition in farm products. Mbongiseni also has more than eight years' experience in community development volunteer initiatives. He holds a bachelor's degree in Agronomy. Mbongiseni is committed to ensuring that Eswatini attains food security, maximizes local production to reduce malnutrition and dependency on imports, encourages youth participation in agriculture, and introduces technologies to increase productivity and make farming more appealing to the young. After completing the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, Mbongiseni plans to continue his ventures in agriculture and to promote existing business in both farming and agro-processing as extended solutions to food security in Eswatini and Africa.
