Nokwanda Mathenjwa is an economics and strategy professional with more than 10 years of multi-industry experience in financial services, mining, construction, retail, government, and tourism. Nokwanda is a mentor with the Allan Gray Orbis Foundation and a member of the executive committee at the Association of Black Securities and Investment Professionals?Young Professionals. She holds a postgraduate diploma in Business Administration and Management and is pursuing a Master of Philosophy in Industrial Policy at the University of Johannesburg. Nokwanda was one of 21 individuals selected from more than 250 global applications by the Centre for Global Enterprise to be part of its first Global Scholars Alpha Consulting Team. Her pre-loved clothing start-up Yamilet was one of 700 selected globally to represent Africa's emerging entrepreneurs at the Global Entrepreneurship Summit.
