Norman Maurice is a community activist from Khorixas, Namibia. Currently, Norman works as a nurse and serves as both a local authority councilor and a chairperson for the Khorixas Constituency Youth Forum. For the past 12 years, he has worked on issues related to democracy, community engagement, human rights, and HIV/AIDS in partnership with the Namibian Red Cross Society, the National Youth Council, the Khorixas Town Council, and Pots of Hope. A graduate of the University of Namibia, Norman believes that injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere, and that young people must be involved in decision-making processes.
