Claudia Nwiebibua Nsono has more than seven years of experience in journalism and communication. She is the director of communications and marketing at Renewable Energy Innovators?Cameroon and focuses on designing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating marketing and communications strategies. Claudia is also the secretary general of the Cameroon Association of English-Speaking Journalists, Yaoundé Chapter, and is two-time vice president of the Cameroon Journalists Trade Union, South West Chapter. She is passionate about helping women and vulnerable groups; through her non-profit, Nsonoation, Claudia provides sex workers with alternative income sources, clothing, and food and works to flatten the curve of HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases. She holds a bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Buea and is completing her master's degree in English. After completing the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, Claudia plans to find more sustainable solutions to ensure that people are not forced into sex work.
