Opeoluwa Adetayo Ashimi

Opeoluwa Ashimi is a pharmacist and digital health entrepreneur with a Master of Business Administration. She has ten years' experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry. She currently leads M'Care Health, where she is responsible for the strategic deployment of artificial intelligence-aided healthcare in Nigeria's rural communities that do not have doctors. She has reached over 388,000 rural inhabitants to date. She is also the CEO of Promane and Promade, a technical support firm for Nigerian entrepreneurs seeking access to capital and innovative management solutions. This venture emerged from her research on scaling M'Care's digital health innovation at the bottom of the pyramid, which led to the development of the proprietary population economy canvas. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, she hopes to expand the impact of M'Care Health across West Africa and scale Promane and Promade's capital access and innovation management model across Africa.
