Pascale Gabriella Serra Nga Gnii Voueto has over ten years of experience in audiovisual production. Currently, she is head of a company named IllustrO, which aims at promoting the image of her home country, the Central African Republic, by working with people in need and broadcasting documentaries about challenges they face on a daily. This facilitates fund raising to implement micro-projects for these people.Pascale holds a bachelor's degree in Audiovisual Communication. She is driven by the belief that audiovisual media can be a relevant factor of development and a way to raise awareness among the population concerning questions related to the duties of remembrance, reconstruction, and resilience. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Pascale plans to consolidate her company in order to improve the audiovisual sector in her country by providing training for young people and organizing screenings of educational documentaries followed by debates in schools and neighborhoods, as well as to raising young people's awareness and interests through filmmaking.
