Phinda Mzwandile Mkhonta

Phinda Mkhonta is a social entrepreneur, leader, creative writer, poet, motivator, and business consultant. Phinda has ten years of experience in various fields in the community development sector, especially community youth empowerment, youth entrepreneurship, and the arts. Phinda is also the co-founder and director of the Rethink Africa Foundation, a non-profit foundation that promotes youth empowerment, sustainable development, youth entrepreneurship, training, co-operative governance, clean water supply, sustainable energy, food production, and information technology, among other goals. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Phinda plans to return to Eswatini better equipped to continue his work towards youth empowerment through meaningful collaborations, creating training platforms for youth development, empowering youth through projects, and promoting youth entrepreneurship.
