Rebecca Yetunde Ebenzer-Abiola

Rebecca Ebenezer-Abiola is a Social and Behavior Change Communication (SBCC) specialist with over 16 years combined experience. Rebecca currently works as Project Coordinator at the African Radio Drama Association (ARDA). She has written and produced over 15 different radio programs, several short videos and documentaries, and a toolkit app on various health, social, and developmental issues including peace and conflict resolution. Rebecca is the convener of the Leaders of Tomorrow (LoT) project where she trains young leaders on using storytelling as a leadership and peace building tool. She is a Leadership and Conflict Management Trainer with the Generation Change Program of the United States Institute of Peace (USIP), where she has successfully trained emerging leaders from East Africa and Latin America. Rebecca is motivated by her commitment to contribute to the sustainable development of Nigeria. She aspires to contribute to the development of wholesome and conscientious leaders through the establishment of a leadership institute which will use innovative methodologies and participatory approaches to impart leadership skills. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Rebecca plans to continue her work in the area of social and behavioral change communication. She also plans to begin an online leadership program for young leaders.
