Ronald Quincy

Dr. Ronald Quincy is a professor of planning and public policy at Rutgers University and the academic director of the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders Leadership in Civic Engagement Institute at Rutgers (2014-2019). Earlier in his career, Ron served as associate vice president of Harvard University, foreign affairs advisor to the U.S. Department of State, and executive director of the Martin Luther King Center for Nonviolent Social Change. He has visited over 20 African countries, and is actively advising projects with dozens of Fellowship Alumni. Dr. Quincy has engagements with the African diaspora in Brazil, Haiti, Puerto Rico, and other regions. His expertise includes conflict resolution, strategic planning, community organizing and development, civil and civic engagement, and micro business.
