Rose Nayeja has more than eight years of experience in public law practice in the government of Malawi. Currently, Rose is principal law reform officer at the Law Commission, where she focuses on developing, reviewing, and amending legislation and on educating the public about Malawi's laws. At the Ministry of Justice, Rose was a prosecutor in the Directorate of Public Prosecutions and drafted Malawi's States Parties reports in the ministry's Human Rights Section. Rose holds a bachelor's degree in Law (honors). She is committed to improving public law service delivery in Malawi. After completing the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, Rose plans to contribute to better public management of law reform services.
