Sarah Chodota

2021 Fellow from Tanzania

Sarah Chodota is an experienced anticorruption community educator with a background in journalism, public relations, and corruption offense investigation. She volunteered for and completed an internship at Femina Hip, a multimedia platform that addresses sexual reproductive health for youth. She has also spent many years educating the community on corruption through community awareness programs with the Prevention and Combating of Corruption Bureau in Tanzania. Sarah is currently developing an integrity teaching guide for students in primary school and out-of-school youth. After completing the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, Sarah plans to help youth take a lead in fighting corruption and building peace to create a culture of integrity in Tanzania.
