Jean Paul Sekarema is from the Nyanza district, Southern province, Rwanda, now resides in Kigali city, Kicukiro district.  He prefers to be called SEKA, symbolizing a smile rather than Sekarema, which carries connotations of disabilities.

He earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from the National University of Rwanda in 2013 and is currently completing his master’s degree in project management.  Jean Paul serves as a Project Manager at the National Union of Disabilities’ Organizations in Rwanda (NUDOR).

Jean Paul is fluent in Kinyarwanda and English, with proficiency in French, and basic knowledge of Italian and German.  In his leisure time, he aspires to become a published author and aims to foster an inclusive society where individuals, regardless of impairment, can enjoy life harmoniously together.
