Shubert Martin Mwarabu

Shubert Mwarabu has over five years of experience in wildlife conservation. Currently, Shubert is the founder and director of Vijana na Uhifadhi (Youths in Conservation), a youth-centered non-profit organization that inspires youth to take charge in protecting their natural heritage. He is also a musician who uses his music to raise awareness on wildlife conservation and climate change issues. Shubert has served as an ambassador to the African Elephants Coalition and as a core member of the Global March for Elephants and Rhinos, and he recently joined the Alliance to Counter Crime Online, fighting the ivory trade and other crimes organized through online fora. After completing the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Shubert has gained more skills and networks that have continued to advance his mission in conservation.
