Tayba Hatimy has more than six years of experience in business leadership and partnerships. She is a dentist and a social entrepreneur in Kenya, and the founder and executive director of Miss Baus Collection, an award-winning fashion brand. Tayba is also the founder of Baus Umoja Initiative, which helps women and youth prone to early marriages build microbusinesses through technology, collaborations, and entrepreneurial mentorship. Tayba holds a doctorate in Dental Surgery from Texila American University and recently participated in the inaugural Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research. After completing the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, Tayba plans to partner with other African leaders to sustainably empower and transform youth and women.
