Tsepo Emmanuel Nkhabu

2017 Fellow from Lesotho

Tshepo Nkhabu, born in 1995 in Mafeteng, Lesotho, is the Founder and Director for Hands of Life, an organization which seeks to create a youth center for the local community. He coaches the youth in cycling, life skills, maintenance, and leadership. He studied in Lesotho and South Africa, and gained skills in eight languages. Since 2012, he has organized multiple events for the youth of his community hosting fundraising activities, sports events, and leadership workshops. He also volunteers with local charity organizations and provides technical support. He served at a local community radio station for 2 years in the marketing department; he later managed the production studio, where he produced jingles and advertisements, developed the website, and presented lessons on health. He enjoys providing free hospitality for touring cyclists at his place and sharing stories together.
