Ugochi Obidiegwu has five years of experience in the development sector. Currently, Ugochi is the managing partner at Ulomka, where she develops programs and advises on policy regarding pressing development issues affecting young Africans. She is committed to ensuring that young people become better versions of themselves through her social development work, which focuses primarily on ensuring child safety and reducing substance abuse among youth. Ugochi is the author of a child safety storybook series available in English and French, a co-creator of an online safety game for children, and a developer of social impact apps. She credits the Mandela Washington Fellowship with introducing her to cross-border business partnerships and increasing the visibility and growth of her work across several countries.
