Wabi Alemu Ebisa has more than four years of experience in leadership, research and development, innovation, strategic planning, project management, and business development. Currently, Wabi is manager of Group R&D and Innovation Hub at Ethiopian Airlines Group, the leading aviation group in Africa. He leads the identification of bottlenecks, untapped potentials, and unused opportunities to provide innovative solutions; manages projects and innovative partnerships; and evaluates policies, strategies, joint ventures, businesses, and projects. Wabi has received several recognitions for his volunteer work, training that he has delivered, and developmental projects he completed for his community, including a project for local farmers that was implemented with support from the U.S. Agency for International Development. Wabi holds a master's degree in Business Administration from Addis Ababa University and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science. He is committed to bringing real and tangible results through innovation and research and development. After completing the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, Wabi plans to work on projects with a significant impact on eradicating poverty in Africa.
