Unotida Nyoni, 2019 Fellowship Alumnus
When Zimbabwe was going through an economic recession in 2007, Unotida Nyoni decided the country and continent needed someone to teach financial principles and help pull the region out of poverty. As an author, consultant and an award-winning speaker, Unotida is working to provide his peers with the financial literacy skills they need to rise above his country’s challenges. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, he began hosting Zoom training sessions, both on slowing the spread of the virus and on financial literacy skills. In this YALI Network blog post, he details how he is helping others to understand and attain financial security.
