YALIFest: Amplifying Youth Voices in Civic, Entrepreneurship, and Public Spaces
This year, the Mandela Washington Fellowship Alumni Association in Kenya is hosting three events to convene Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI) alumni, including Fellowship Alumni and alumni of the YALI Regional Leadership Centers and YALI Network. Featuring ignite talks, exhibitions, entertainment, and plenary sessions, the events will celebrate the transformation and impact YALI has had on its alumni in Kenya and Africa.
The first of these events happened early in March in Kisumu, and two additional events will follow in the spring and summer. The theme of YALIFest is Amplifying Youth Voices in Civic, Entrepreneurship, and Public Spaces.
