Brian Muchiri Waihenya, a 2023 Fellowship Alumnus from Kenya, has been in a wheelchair since he was involved in an automobile crash as a teenager. This summer, he participated in a Leadership Institute studying Civic Engagement at Michigan State University in Lansing, Michigan, and a Professional Development Experience at Wilderness Inquiry in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
