Inside Africa: El Hadji Malick Badji

2018 Fellowship Alumnus El Hadj Malick Badji from Senegal was recently featured on CNN’s Inside Africa. El Hadji is a software engineer, designer, and the founder of Nio Far by Milcos, a Senegalese fashion brand creating clothing, bags, shoes, and accessories. It is the first West African brand to create handmade sneakers with mud cloth and leather from local craftsmen.
